Well Baby Clinic
Thursday 9am –
11.00 am by appointment only. 8 week development checks are undertaken and
vaccinations are given by the Doctors and Health Visitors. The Clinic is run
alternate weeks by Dr Eyre and Dr Roseberry along with the Health Visitor.
Thursday 1pm - 4pm – Developmental assessments are undertaken by the Health
Visitor or their assistant. An appointment will be given for a development
assessment at age 2 – 2 yrs 3 months.

Midwives' Clinics
Every Wednesday 1pm – 3.30pm.
The Midwives who are based at Ormskirk District General Hospital visit the
surgery once a week to provide ante-natal care and advice in conjunction with
the GPs. They are usually the midwives who will visit you at home after you have
had your baby. All the doctors see Expectant Mothers in normal surgeries.

Diabetic Clinic
Every Tuesday afternoon by appointment. They are led by our practice nurses Tina
and Ann and Dr Ian Hughes.

Counselling Session
Wednesday 1
– 4 pm. Patients can be seen in the surgery or at the Hesketh Centre by
appointment. Our Counsellor is available to give help to patients with a variety
of problems including those related to stress, bereavement and relationship
difficulties.

Minor Surgery Clinics are held twice a month by
appointment.

CHD Clinics are run twice a week by our Practice Nurse Tina Grant.

Contraceptive Advice is available from each
doctor whilst Drs Hughes and Eyre can advise on cap fittings or coil checks.

Patients aged over 75 are
offered an annual assessment.

Travel Clinic
Our practice nurses hold specific clinics for travel advice. You will need to
complete a questionnaire prior to making an appointment with our nurses. If our
clinics are full you will be offered details of other agencies who can provide
this service privately. |
